Game Designer

With Brawlmart I was mainly focused on the design of combat and player to player interactions.
- Co-created fundamental game systems such as player movement and interactions through iterative design
- Provided written and drawn concepts to help create the visual style for characters and the environment of the game
- Spearheaded a design revamp of the combat systems after extensive play-testing feedback found room for growth and improvement

Producer

Producing for Brawlmart I was able to apply my diverse skill-set to help developers align timelines with artists and ensure effective development of features as per design specs.
- I Worked with both sides of development utilizing Trello/Notion and Kanban style organization for task management and setting development targets
- Assisted in the creation of the GDD for Brawlmart, utilizing my role as a Game Designer to generate content for the document, and my viewpoint as Producer to ensure scope remained reasonable as development continued

VFX Artist

As the VFX Artist for Brawlmart I was primarily responsible for the creation and behavior of live particle systems within the game

Bust-a-Brick

A small vertical slice project created during my time at TFS, Bust-a-Brick combines classic brick breaker gameplay with platformer movement challenges and Space Invaders-esque base defense, created within the Construct 3 Game Engine

For this vertical slice I was the Designer and Developer handling all aspects of the games creation. With the time limitations put in place for this project I opted to purchase and use some assets created by the talented KenneyNG

Feeding FishHook

This game was created for the Entry Level Game Jam in participation with Bilal, VirtualRook, and Zeke.In this hyper-stylized fishing game you catch fish to feed to the Eldritch Beast FishHook (EntryLvl's Mascot). He will pay you in gold that you can exchange with your friendly local cult to the Eldritch Gods in exchange for nets and upgrades to help you in your fishy quest! This was a great deal of fun to create! From concept to implementation the tight time restrictions helped us narrow down a desirable scope and with the talent of the team I think we executed a really fun little game with a unique visual style and engaging gameplay! You can play it in browser here (on itch.io)

Game Designer

With the short window of time on Feeding FishHook my primary roles as Game Designer were concept pitching and refinement, as well as communicating the concept and organizing tasks
- Pitched and iterated upon initial concept along with the team
- Provided feedback based on the concept to new ideas and adjustments to scope
- Helped establish key tasks and important goals that needed to be reached

3D Artist

As a 3D Artist for Feeding FishHook I worked in close collaboration with VirtualRook who created the landscape, trees, FishHook model and certainly more things I'm not thinking of!
My model contributions can be seen here!

All models were fully created, textured, and rigged in Blender!
